The Washington Nationals claimed Tyler Robertson off of outright waivers on Friday. By all accounts, the Twins were expecting to lose him, and it just so happens to be to the team they will face this weekend if it ever dries up.
Of note: per Jon Morosi, Robertson's dad is an assistant to Nats GM Mike Rizzo.
The lesson, as always: teach your kids to throw left-handed.
