Good morning/afternoon folks. Jesse was actually in Minnesota and is currently flying back to Boston, so you will have me in the game threads for today. However, he will return for the recaps.

The Twins and Nats had an 11-inning game yesterday, and it doesn't get any easier with a doubleheader today. The Twins already have a 13-man pitching staff, so that is why they chose to call up 1B/OF Chris Colabello instead of another pitcher as their 26th man for today.

Because of the doubleheader, Joe Mauer and Josh Willingham will be riding the bench for Game 1, so the lineup looks pretty frail against Nationals righthander Jordan Zimmermann. However, that's okay as the Nats are starting some guy named Jeff Kobernus in place of Denard Span, who I honestly did not know existed until I started typing this thread.
