No lineups as of this writing, but let's go Twins!
Gibson was clearly impressive in his first start, but facing the Royals is a different animal compared to facing the Yankees. Even if the Yankees are a shell of who they once were. Gibson will be using his two-seam fastball quite a bit today, allegedly, so hopefully he can saw off a few bats of his own and the Twins can kick the Bombers out of town on the back of a win.
Phelps has been up and down this season, posting good strikeout rates on the whole but at times losing command and not fooling batters while he's at it. After starting the season in the bullpen he was forced back into the rotation, where he was a bit better in may before really struggling in June - particularly after the pasting from the Orioles in his last appearance.
