The Twins tonight look to Andrew Albers to put a stop to the Kansas City Royal's 3-game winning streak. Albers will be facing Danny Duffy, who has recently started pitching again after having Tommy John surgery. In Albers' last start against the Royals, he went an impressive 8 1/3 innings, giving up just 4 hits and no runs whatsoever. Duffy has also won his past two starts, and seems to have come back strong after surgery.

Notes
-While Joe Mauer is still eligible to come off the DL, the Twins don't have a "timetable" for his return. He is apparently feeling better, but they're obviously not going to rush him back for what is shaping up to be a lost season.
-Mike Moustakas will be out of the KC lineup tonight because he came down with strep throat. Look for many Minnesota players to be out with strep throat in the coming week or so, as the team doctors will try to treat it with band aids and Neosporin.
-The Royals have a 13-4 season series lead on the Twins. That's just painful.
-Ryan Doumit has been hitting pretty well lately--he's been on base at least once in 12 of his past 13 games.
