Hernandez has faced Cleveland twice this year.  He has pitched 10 1/3 innings.  He has walked ten.  He has an ERA of 6.30.  Jon Marthaler from the Twinkie Town web collective said on this week's Sportive podcast that he'd rather have him back in 2014 than Mike Pelfrey.  Jon is 18 different types of wrong, and should probably be in jail.

As noted by Andrew Simon of MLB.com, Kluber has helped key Cleveland's September surge for the wild card, posting a 4.05 ERA and a 3-0 record in four starts this month.  He's been even better than that against the Twins this year, with a 3.31 ERA in three starts.

Cleveland continues to hold a 1-game lead on Texas for the final AL playoff spot, and trails Tampa by the same amount for the top wild card seed and home-field advantage for Wednesday's playoff.  Tampa plays at Toronto, while Texas hosts the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim John Wayne Airport.

The Twins have been eliminated from playoff contention.
