When it was announced this morning that the Twins would hold a 2:30 press conference, speculation and hot sports takes abounded that this might be it for Ron Gardenhire. That will not be the case, as multiple sources are reporting that Gardy and his entire staff will be back in 2014. He is expected to sign a 2-year deal.
Mike Berardino of the Pioneer Press notes that in addition to the entire staff returning, an additional coach might be added. Paul Molitor? A Spanish-speaking coach? Dunno.
