After last night's crazy game, the Twins today look to take the last game from the Houston Astros, a team somehow considerably worse than Minnesota. Throwing for the Twins will be Liam Hendriks, who beat the Rangers in his last outing on Friday, where he went 6 innings and gave up just 5 hits and one earned run. Did I mention that start was against Yu Darvish? Go Hendriks. On the mound for the Astros will be Jordan Lyles, who is the youngest starting pitcher (with at least 100 innings) in the majors this year. Lyles is just 22 years old, and has gone 2-1 with a 3.54 ERA over his past three starts.
Here is a little more information:
Can we discuss for a quick moment how hilarious Hendriks' picture looks? Wow.
