Despite my earlier complaint that there was nothing going on with the Minnesota Twins and that Brian Duensing had been eaten by a deranged TC Bear, some news has actually broken with Duensing and two other arbitration-eligible veterans, Trevor Plouffe and Anthony Swarzak.
The club announced today that they had successfully avoided arbitration with all three players, signing each to a 1-year deal. The particulars:
- Duensing: $2 million
- Plouffe: $2.35 million
- Swarzak: per Mike Berardino, $935,000, plus a $25,000 bonus if he starts 10 games.
News!
