BREAKFAST LINKS: Benson, Crain, Phosphorescent

• Joe Benson. Remember him? Was supposed to be good, but then he wasn't and then he wasn't here anymore? Anyway, he signed a minor league deal with the Miami Marlins.
• We talked about him last Friday, so we should note that Stupid Necklace Maverick Jesse Crain ended up signing a one-year deal with the Houston Astros.
• Mark Mulder's comeback tour will not start in Minnesota. Doogie had noted that the Twins may have been interested, but the former ace wasn't. Mulder, who hasn't pitched in five+ years, signed a free agent deal with the Los Angeles Angels of Los Angeles, California, USA.
• There is nothing new on the Bronson Arroyo front. I just Googled again before posting this.
