The Salt River Rafters are 5-1 after their first full week of the 2014 season. Let's check in on Minnesota's seven prospects and see who's worth getting excited over at this early stage.
Pitchers
Name | G | IP | BB | K | WHIP | ERA |
Adam, Jason | 2 | 3.0 | 1 | 1 | 2.33 | 12.00 |
Jones, Zack | 2 | 3.0 | 1 | 3 | 1.00 | 0.00 |

Position Players
Name | G | AB | EBH | SB | AVG | OBP | SLG |
Buxton, Byron | 5 | 21 | 1 | 1 | .333 | .417 | .381 |
Kepler, Max | 3 | 12 | 0 | 1 | .250 | .357 | .250 |
Rosario, Eddie | 5 | 22 | 1 | 4 | .409 | .391 | .455 |
It's early for everyone, so of course we're not drawing much of anything from the numbers yet. But it's worth noting that Reed appears to be picking up right where he left off after he struck out 39 batters in 31 innings between Elizabethton and Cedar Rapids. Jones and Buxton are each off to solid starts as well.
Do you think Rosario is out to prove something to anybody? He's racked up four steals in five games without getting caught, and he leads the team with five runs batted in. He's also the only player with more than ten at-bats to still be without a walk, but when you're hitting this well there isn't much to complain about. When he slumps and he's not taking walks, that will be the problem. For right now, though, he looks like he's locked in. Those in attendance are certainly liking what they see.
#Twins fans should be encouraged by outfield play of Eddie Rosario. He can hit and has shown he takes good OF routes. Makes good contact.

We'll follow up with our AFL prospects as the season goes along. Apart from Buxton, who are you the most interested in seeing succeed?
