Three days after Ron Gardenhire was let go, it is being reported that pitching coach Rick Anderson will not return to the team in 2015.

During the press conference on Monday, Terry Ryan reiterated that each assistant coach in the Garndehire cabinet were under contract until December 31st, but would be in "limbo" until the Twins find a replacement. In this case, it seems Anderson has removed himself from the equation. Both Paul Molitor and Doug Mientkiewicz have interviewed for the vacant job since Gardy was let go.
