A series of tweets from Monday night have revealed that the Minnesota Twins are narrowing their search for their new manager, confirming who is still in the running and who is out.
Per @elliottbaseball, Jays bench coach DeMarlo Hale has been informed he is no longer a candidate for #MNTwins manager opening.

SOURCE: Sandy Alomar Jr. has been told he's OUT. Reported last week same on McEwing. Toronto Sun reports Demarlo Hale out too. #mntwins

Here's what I can tell you about the #MNTwins managerial search: Paul Molitor, Doug Mientkiewicz & Torey Lovullo are still in the mix.
— Phil Mackey (@PhilMackey) October 21, 2014
Per Roch Kubatko, the Twins still haven't gotten in touch with John Russell about an interview, either.
Considering everything we've learned in the last couple of weeks and everything we know about the Twins organization, it would be difficult to say that the finalists of Paul Molitor, Doug Mientkiewicz, and Torey Lovullo would be a surprise to anybody.
It's important to remember that there may still be other names in the coffer. As Mackey's tweet indicates, while it's confirmed that the aforementioned trio "are still in the mix" there is zero indication that the list ends there.
But it would be a surprise if someone who wasn't Molitor, Mientkiewicz, or Lovullo got the job. Keep up with our managerial interview tracker for the latest on every name connected to the Twins' job opening.
