Joe Mauer Analyzes Too Many Cooks

The Twins first baseman gives his take on the viral sensation.

Hi, I'm Joe Mauer, catch--heh, first baseman for the Minnesota Twins.  Even I still goof it up sometimes.  Anywho, Jesse and the guys and gals at Twinkie Town wanted me to take a peek at Too Many Cooks, the wacky YouTube video.

Here's my review: What the heck.

It starts off like some of the real good TGIF ABC shows that Mom let me watch since it wasn't a school night.  You guys remember Sabrina?  Salem the Cat was a real character!  And the song was real catchy, like the Full House song (Uncle Joey!).  The dad couldn't take a good picture!  I like relatable humor, so I was pretty excited about where this was going.

But yeah, then the creepy fella just started stabbing everyone.  I was like, what's the deal?  I mean, the GI Joe part was pretty cool, and Smarf looked like he would be a real cut-up, but then, just blood everywhere.  I had to turn away at a couple parts.  Jeez!

Next time, Jesse, just send me some Boy Meets World DVDs, okay?  Mr. Feeney was kind of a fuddy-duddy, but he always kept those kids on the right track.

Have a good one,

Joe Mauer
