UPDATE: Rep. Pat Garofalo Apologizes for His 2014 Minnesota Twins Preview

This was not unexpected.

Again, this is Agostino Garofalo, not Pat.

Hi, it's me, Rep. Pat Garofalo.  In the last few hours, I've had the opportunity to re-learn one of life's lessons yet again: whenever any of us are offering opinions, it is best to refer to people as individuals as opposed to groups. This morning, I publicly commented on the Twins and I sincerely apologize to those who I unfairly categorized. Trevor Plouffe and Chris Parmelee aren't really that young, and shouldn't be expected to have a big, break-through year at this stage of their career.  Kyle Gibson is very talented, and could potentially be a 2 or 3 in the rotation.  Justin Morneau isn't on the team anymore. MLB has many examples of players and owners who are horrific role models for our communities and for our country. Those individuals do deserve that criticism and I apologize. In addition, it's been brought to my attention that they are called Beats By Dre headphones, and that my kids all have them. Again, I offer my sincere apologies for my comments. I will never, ever mention sports again.
