Notes:

• As noted earlier, Aaron Hicks was placed on the 7-day disabled list for concussions today.
• As not noted earlier because it just broke, Mike Pelfrey and his clubhouse chemistry are going on the DL with a tweaked groin. A position player will be called up for tomorrow's game. Per FSN's Tyler Mason, Gardy says it won't be Oswaldo Arcia, and Chris "GENE" Parmelee's not on the 40-man roster, so it may not be him, either. Regardless, tonight's bench is Florimon and Herrmann. Oy.
• Mike Berardino reports that it will be Samuel Deduno taking Pelf's spot in the rotation, and he'll start on Tuesday.
• The Twins have rescheduled last Sunday's rainout with Detroit for an August 23rd doubleheader.
