  • Multiple media reports/tweets indicated that Aaron Hicks was working out prior to the game, but Danny Santana gets the nod again in center. Per Berardino, Hicks told Gardy that the back is good but he's not ready for breaking balls yet. At some point, the Twins will have three outfielders in the outfield.
  • Berardino also tweeted that Gardenhire said Sam Fuld had "a real good day" which I assume is baseball-related?
  • Mike Pelfrey has now been diagnosed with an elbow injury in addition to his other ailments. He won't be back anytime soon, I don't think.
