I have no idea what to write about today. Most of the Twins are injured. Phil Hughes looks to be coming back to Earth. Derek Jeter's steely, determined leadership has healed me in a profound way. You know, the usual stuff.
So, since it's a holiday, and you're probably either at a parade or prepping meats or going to Wisconsin or South Dakota to get the "real" fireworks so you can go to the "real" emergency room later, maybe spend some time with some oldies:
- An Oral History of Nick Punto Sliding Headfirst Into First Base
- Twins Warn Buxton: Triples Are Showing Off
- Joe Mauer: I Was Moved to First Base By Two Cowards and a 2% Milk Bigot
Enjoy your morning! We'll be back for this afternoon's tilt later.
