The Twins lost rather embarrassingly tonight, especially going into the 9th inning down 1-10. Houston Astro Chris Carter launched two home runs against the Twins, but he wasn't the only player in the game to homer multiple times (silver lining spoiler alert).
Oswaldo Arcia launched a home run in the second inning to start the scoring, and another one in the ninth inning, to make his first multi-home run game of his career. Rookie call-up Kennys Vargas also hit a home-run in the ninth inning, the second of his major-league career.
Also a surprise—rookie call-up Trevor May (who started on Saturday for the Twins), pitched 2.1 innings for the Twins tonight. He did slightly better than his Saturday debut, giving up only two runs instead of four. He also got his first major league strikeout. Way to go, DJ Hey Beef!
