Game 130: Tigers at Twins

A win today is a win for America, and a series win for the Twins.

First Pitch: 1:10pm CDT

TV: FS-N
Radio: K-TWIN, TIBN
Know Thine Enemy: Bless You Boys

Pre-Game Notes

  • Gibson: feast or famine today?
  • A win today would put the Twins at 59-71, or on pace for a 74-88 season. A loss, at 58-72, means 72-90. At this point, the game is about avoiding a fourth consecutive 90-loss season, so winning today would be good.
  • Detroit's fans and fans around baseball may laugh, but right now I'd take the Twins 1 through 4 hitters over the Tigers' 1 through 4. Sorry, Torii.
