Orioles Demolish May, Twins, 9-1

This game sucked and I don't want to talk about it.

Joy R. Absalon-USA TODAY Sports

Imagine a world where Delmon Young hits a home run that clearly is not a home run and the umpires blow the review and it matters. That happened tonight.  But, since the Twins are unpleasant for the fourth season running, nobody cares.

But I'm not bitter.

So, anyway, Trevor May looked good for three innings, then loaded the bases with two HBPs, then walked in the first run, then gave up a grand slam to Chris Jones.  It was 5-0.  Great.

As mentioned, former Twin and alleged anti-Semite Delmon Young hit a long fly to left that Jordan Schafer jumped for and missed.  Some dude reached his glove out and grabbed it, and it was clearly, CLEARLY, fan interference.  Ron Gardenhire officially complained,  The umpires reviewed it and still screwed it up.  And even though it matters long term, holy shit, it just doesn't matter.

Trevor Plouffe hit the 10,000th home run in Twins/Senators franchise history.  So there's some rain delay programming.

Enjoy your weekend, everybody.
