Twins Tear Apart White Sox Bullpen 16-3

The game started slowly, but the Twins capitalized with a 9-run 8th inning to beat the Sox.

Jonathan Daniel

There was a rain delay shortly after the game started that lasted under an hour. White Sox starter Jose Quintana did last 5 innings and tightroped his way by giving up only 1 run despite constantly being in trouble, but the Twins finally struck against the White Sox bullpen. They scored 15 runs in the final 4 innings, including 9 in the 8th inning against three Sox pitchers.

On the other side, Kyle Gibson did a great job pitching. Other than giving up 3 runs in the 4th, he pitched 7 solid innings in earning the win.

Seriously, just check out the box score, you'll get more than if I told you what happened.

WP: Kyle Gibson (10-8)

LP: Javy Guerra (1-3)
