Last night's game was a fun win for Minnesota, as they handily took down the Chicago White Sox, in a game that featured a lot of players we'll (hopefully) be seeing a lot more of in the future. Tonight's game features another young player starting for Minnesota, throwing against an Angels lefty. Kyle Gibson will be starting his 27th game this year, and is currently holding an 11-10 W-L record, with a 4.23 ERA and 89 Ks. His opponent will be Hector Santiago, who is starting his 25th game with the Angels tonight. His record sits at a slightly unfortunate 4-7 with a 3.28 ERA and 94 Ks. Santiago's issue has been lasting more than six innings in games all season -- in fact, he hasn't gone more than six innings since early April of this year. He has been throwing well in the innings he does appear, though, as over his last four starts, he has a 1.19 ERA. Kyle Gibson has had ups and downs throughout the season, and his last start against the Orioles would be something he'd like to rebound from, going just 5 innings (only allowing one earned run, however).
