There's only one game on the docket for these next couple of days, as the baseball world sorts out its Wild Card biz-nass. Tonight the Astros visit the Yankees for the right to play the Royals, and I think you'll all agree with me when I say: Go, Houston, go!
You'll already know this if you've seen our playoffs info thread, but if not just tune into ESPN at 7:00pm central. The Worldwide Leader in Sports gets a single post-season baseball game, which seems about right, I guess. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather just have all the games split between FOX and TBS, but if we have to get six channels involved in this puppy how does the single biggest sports conglomerate in the country come away with a single ballgame?
What's that? Oh, money? Right.
Here's the lineup for tonight's game. I think Alex Rodriguez, Carlos Beltran, and Brian McCann have a combined age of 716, which is bigger than the combined age of every player on Houston's side of the lineup card. True story. Enjoy the game!
