Happy Thursday, Twins fans! Today, we're going to take a look at a couple interesting tidbits from the baseball world. Spoiler alert: yes, Miguel Sano being sent down is one of the things.
-Seth Stohs has some great pictures/takes from Spring Training and some of the young up-and-comers. Check them out - he has some really good photos!
-Berardino talks Shane Robinson's contract and how he has an April 2nd deadline with the team to be able to opt-out if he isn't added to the big-league roster. He's hitting .294 this spring, going 5-for19 with 2 walks, 2 Ks, and a double. What do you think -- will he make the cuts?
-Speaking of cuts (and being sent down...), Miguel Sano was optioned to AA Chattanooga this week (it will take a while to get used to Chattanooga, I feel). I'm sure we'll see him late in the season, along with Byron Buxton, but for now, he'll have to tear in up in Tennessee.
-Phil Hughes was pretty pumped (slight exaggeration) about getting his first Spring Training win since 2011 on St. Paddy's Day.
-Also, I'm sure you already do, but if not for some really crazy reason, please make sure you're following Glen Perkins on twitter. He's the right mix of sassy and smart. He also posted a picture of Phil Hughes with his shirt off, if you're into that kind of thing.
