Twins Trounced By Tigers 11-0

The Twins showed absolutely no fight in this game.

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

Yeah….

This game was a dud. The offense was silent, the pitching was awful, all around the Twins did not play well. The scoring started in the 3rd inning when Ricky Nolasco gave up a walk and double before giving up the first runs in the game on a single by Ian Kinsler and a double from Miguel Cabrera. He was then chased in the 4th without getting an out when he started the inning with a walk and infield single, followed by a 2-run triple to Anthony Gose.

The onslaught didn't stop even when Nolasco was pulled and replaced by Tim Stauffer. Making his Twins debut, he continued his struggles from spring training as he yielded two more runs in the inning and then two more in the 5th. The game was over from there as the Twins offense never threatened Anibal Sanchez and Co, mustering only 4 hits the entire game.
