The Twins have hit a bit of a slump, if you could call it that, simply from losing their past two games. They'll have to do it against the Tigers, a team that they've struggled against this entire season. Taking the mound is Ricky Nolasco, who is 2-1 on the season in spite of his 9.00 ERA and failure to pitch past the 5th inning in any of his three starts. Meanwhile, Tigers starter Kyle Lobstein has been effective (3.00 ERA) in spite of his lack of strikeouts (4.09 K/9) as he's done a good job keeping the ball on the ground and avoiding the long ball the entire season.
