Game 85: Orioles @ Twins

New, comments

Twins look to get out the brooms and clean the place up because their in-laws are in town and the place needs to look spiffy.

I don't have anything funny to say but here is Tommy Milone.

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

Tommy Milone has 5 straight "quality starts" going for him, which is nice. Over that stretch he's holding hitters to a .216 BAA. He's also mixed in 27 strikeouts in 32 IP for a respectable 7.6 K/9.

On the surface, Ubaldo Jiménez's 2.96 ERA is impressive. However, if you look at his FIP it's... still an impressive 3.23. He's also striking out close to 9 batters per 9 IP. In other words, he's good.

We have some roster moves (and notes, too) that happened last night, ICYMI:

- Chris Herrmann was optioned to AAA.

- Eric Fryer was called up to replace him so I guess he's not going to the Pan-Am games.

- Ricky Nolasco was placed on the 60 day DL, retroactive to May 31st, per Mike Berardino.

- Trevor May has an AMA on reddit, which is fun to read through. Go ahead and ask him anything, just remember to VOTE DOZIER. Voting closes on Friday at 3p.m. CST.

Where to find the game:

TV: Not on FSN (I think)

Radio: Go 96.3, TIBN

Know Thine Enemy: Camden Chat
