Twins Cut Max Kepler, Ryan Sweeney

Kepler goes to AAA, Sweeney is released.

Per Phil Miller of the Strib, the Twins are down two outfielders today, cutting both Max Kepler and Ryan Sweeney.

Kepler, the German-born outfield prospect, was sent to Rochester.  As noted by Miller, he is expected to play all three outfield spots and first base.  Sweeney was released from his minor-league deal.

Your remaining reserve outfielders: Danny Santana, Darin Mastroianni, Oswaldo Arcia (see Jesse's story), and...Carlos Quentin.
