Know Thine Enemy: Royals Review

MIN: Ricky Nolasco (0-0, 0.00 ERA)

Nolasco won the 5th starter spot out of spring training, or Duffey lost his spot, or possibly a combination of those two things. He hopes to prove that he deserved the role with a good outing today.

KC: Edinson Volquez (1-0, 0.00 ERA)

Volquez was the opening day starter for the Royals, going six shutout innings with two hits and three walks. He gets to face a struggling Twins lineup which has scored less than 2 runs per game.

You know, I thought this years team was going to perform similarly to last year's, but I didn't think they'd have the same poor start. The 2015 squad started 1-6, and then got hot. Hopefully the 2016 Twins can do the same.
