Phillip "Phil" Hughes, (Geez this team needs some nicknames, someone turn on the Bat-Girl signal) had an almost adequatulent season last year with an ERA of 4.40. He's reportedly lost 15 pounds since then and is most likely in the best shape of his life. Bat to watch out for: Manny Machado is batting .444 against Hughes in 21 PAs. Bat to not watch out for: JJ Hardy is 6 for 35 with 5Ks.
Ubaldo "No Need For a Nickname" Jimenez finished last year with a 4.11 ERA but struggled during Spring Training this year. Let's hope he's still rusty. The Twins haven't faced Jimenez very much so take these with a grain rock of salt, Stick to pick: Dozier is 6 for 15 with 1 2B, 1 BB and 5Ks. Stick a fork in its: Mauer is 1 for 14 against him, Plouffe has 8Ks in 16 PAs.
