Series Preview: Royals at Twins

Maybe we can win one of these.

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

After losing the series 1-3 to the Blue Jays, the Twins welcome the Kansas City Royals to Target Field for a three game series.

The Royals come in having won 6 of 9, on the strength of some solid pitching.

The Twins aren't very good.

Who's hot

Kurt Suzuki: 5-14, HR

Paulo Orlando: 9-14, 2 2B, 3B, HR

Who's not (and I couldn't include just one Twin here...)

Trevor Plouffe: 0-16

Byung Ho Park: 1-22

Brian Dozier: 3-27

Kendrys Morales: 2-19

Game 1

Monday, May 23rd, 7:10 PM CDT

Probables: Ian Kennedy vs Ricky Nolasco

Plouffe is 4-9 with a HR and Nolasco is 2-3 with a double versus Kennedy.

Game 2

Tuesday, May 24th, 7:10 PM CDT

Probables: Edinson Volquez vs Ervin Santana

Joe Mauer has a triple slash of .421/.421/.632 against Volquez.

Game 3

Wednesday, May 25th, 1:10 PM CDT

Probables: Dillon Gee vs Tyler Duffey

No Twin has a HR vs Gee in 36 PA, so we're probably due.

Prediction: Who even knows anymore?
