Per Rhett Bolinger, Phil Hughes will be removed from the starting rotation and placed in the bullpen to make room for returning starter Kyle Gibson.

In two starts in Ft. Myers, Gibson threw 9.1 innings, giving up just 1 run, walking 1, and striking out 8.
A couple starts ago, Hughes said he's been dealing with shoulder fatigue, which is why he was removed after just 75 pitches. He's been largely ineffective this year, with an ERA of 5.74 and a FIP of 5.10. In his last start he made it just 4.2 innings, allowing 9 hits 3 walks, and 4 runs.
There still needs to be a roster move made to bring Gibson back. I would suspect Taylor Rogers, but we'll keep you posted when that happens.
