AAA: Rochester Red Wings 7, Indianapolis Indians 0

SP Jason Wheeler threw a gem for the Red Wings, surrendering only five hits with five strikeouts over 8 innings pitched.

It was also LF Max Kepler's first game since coming off the disable list, and a good thing too, as he had to take over in center field when Byron Buxton was pulled in the third inning. Kepler went 2-for-4 with one run scored.

2B Jorge Polanco also had himself a nice little game, going 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI, and one run scored.

Low A: Cedar Rapids Kernels 3, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 2

It was another walk-off win for the Kernels, except this time it was a walk-off wild pitch instead of an error. 2B Sean Miller scored the winning run in the bottom of the 9th.

CF LaMonte Wade drove in the first run for the Kernels in the bottom of the 3rd inning with an RBI single. The single stretched Wade's on-base streak to 30 games, tying the longest such streak in the Midwest League this season.

SP Randy LeBlanc threw eight shutout innings for the Kernels with six strikeouts. The Kernels were up 2-0 going into the 9th inning when RP Michael Cederoth came in and promptly blew the save to tie things up 2-2. Luckily, as mentioned, Cederoth did eventual get the win he clearly deserved when the Kernels walked off in the bottom of the inning.
