A recap of the Twins' minor league affiliates' results from June 11th, 2016.

AAA: Rochester Red Wings 6, Toledo Mud Hens 5

It was a rough start for SP Jose Berrios, who gave up five earned runs over 7 innings, but luckily the Red Wings also have LF Adam Brett Walker. Walker hit a three-run home run in the second inning that turned out to be a difference maker in this competition.

The Red Wings were also double happy yesterday. 1B Kennys Vargas, C John Ryan Murphy, and DH Jorge Polanco all hit doubles in the team’s win.

AA: Chattanooga Lookouts 8, Tennessee Smokies 1

Another Walker to the rescue! Lookouts 2B Ryan Walker smashed a three-run dinger in the 6th inning to help this carryout this runaway win.

Daniel Palka only went 1-for-5 with a double. It’s like he doesn’t even care.

High A: Brevard County Manatees 2, Ft. Myers Miracle 1

The Miracle lost in the bottom of the 10th inning on a walk-off wild pitch. Isn’t minor league ball fun? RP Todd Van Steensel, who I am fond of, did the honors. Sorry dude.

Otherwise, the pitching was okay. SP Randy Rosario went 6.3 innings with only one earned run on seven hits and one walk. RP Brian Gilbert pitched 1.1 innings and gave up only one hit and zero runs.

Low A: Peoria Chiefs 7, Cedar Rapids Kernels 6

The Kernels scored six runs in the first inning and then fell apart light a snowman in July. SP Eduardo Del Rosario only made it 4.1 innings and gave up three runs. RP Williams Ramirez went 2.2 innings and gave up another four earned runs. Only our savior and space travel candidate RP Michael Theofanopoulos could stop the bleeding, pitching a scoreless bottom of the 8th. Alas, it was not enough.
