AA: Chattanooga Lookouts 4, Tennessee Smokies 2

CF Zach Granite hit a lead-off home run and 2B Levi Michael hit his first AA home run in the 5th to help carry the Lookouts to a win. RF Daniel Palka did not hit a home run.

Lookouts SP Aaron Slegers had a nice little start, lasting 6 innings and giving up only two runs on four hits. He also had seven strikeouts. RP Jake Reed came in and pitched to hit-less, score-less innings before RP Trevor Hildenberger came in for the save.

High A: Lakeland Flying Tigers 4, Ft. Myers Miracle 1

Miracle SP Randy LeBlanc lasted only 5 innings and was responsible for all four of the Flying Tigers’ runs, and you know what they call that in this business: a loss.

Meanwhile, the Lookouts lineup managed only three hits all game, and you know what they call that in this business: ass-bats.

Low A: Burlington Bees 5, Cedar Rapids Kernels 1

SP Sam Clay gave up two runs in the top of the 1st inning and the Kernels, who were also apparently using their ass-bats, were never able to climb out of the hole.

SS Sean Miller knocked in 2B Luis Arraez in the 5th inning for the Kernels’ only run of the game.
