Is is just me, or did Jhoulys Chacin's parents really drop the ball by not naming him "Ghoulys?" I realize it's a Spanish name, and it uses a soft "J," bu c'mon, folks. Shoulda known that A) their son would play baseball and B) he'd be good enough to play in America's top league and C) zombies would be huge in America now and D) "Ghoulys would have improved his marketability considerably. If I'm Chacin, I'd be consulting attorneys and considering lawsuit options for lost revenue. Digits:

Velocity isn't Chacin's thing; the slider has always been his best pitch. He'll mix in a "meh" cutter/curve/change. Both he and mound opponent (phrasing?) Ervin Santana have had strange baBIP splits this year; Chacin's baBIP is 98 points lower from RH batters, and Santana's a bizarre 128 lower. (Both are, so they claim, righthanded.) Lineups:
