Farm Report: Polanco and Britton doubling it up

AAA: Rochester Red Wings 8, Columbus Clippers 2

CF Eddie Rosario and 2B Jorge Polanco both had doubles, and DH Buck Britton went 2-for-4 with a home run as the Red Wings’ offense exploded for a win yesterday. The pitching wasn’t too shabby either—SP Andrew Albers only surrendered just two runs over 7 innings with six strikeouts.

RP Marcus Walden pitched the final two shutout innings in the Red Wings’ win.

It’s the AA All-Star Break right now, so no game for the Lookouts.

High A: St. Myers Miracle 7, Charlotte Stone Crabs 2

Miracle DH Trey Vavra had a fabulous game, going 3-for-4 with a two-run homerun, four RBI, and two runs scored. C Brian Navarreto wasn’t to shabby either, going 2-for-2, with a home run, a walk, and two RBI himself.

SP Randy Rosario started for the Miracle, and lasted 6 innings while giving up two earned runs on six hits and one walk. He had five strikeouts.
