Tuesday Twins: Torii Hunter Jr. signed with the Angels, but Korea loves us!

I was wrong. Torii Hunter Jr. signed a contract to play for the Los Angeles Angeles of Anaheim (but will also continue to play football for his college). Uh... okay. Torii Hunter Jr. was the 696th pick overall in the MLB draft. I wish him the best of luck with whatever he does!

There might be some comparables between the 2016 Twins and the 2004 Royals (you know... back when the Royals sucked?)

Twins' beat writer Rhett Bollinger spent a week in Korea, and has an awesome report on Korean baseball and Byung Ho Park. The Twins now have a nice following in South Korea.

Meanwhile, Byung Ho Park is busy trying to learn two new languages.

Eduardo Escobar, who is always happy, is depressed because his Venezuelan home land needs help. He is trying to take care of his family, who seem mostly okay, but things are not going well.

Australian Lachlan Wells, who dominated in his Low A debut yesterday, is getting attention for his looks.
