We finally got the good Kyle Gibson tonight. He tossed 7 shutout innings, struck out 7 and walked just 1. He got into some trouble in the third but got three straight fly outs to end the threat.

As for the Twins, all of their offense came courtesy of Brian Dozier. He ripped a solo HR for the first run in the 2nd inning. In the 6th he came up with two runners on and blasted another HR to push the Twins lead to 4-0.

Ryan Pressly and Brandon Kintzler closed out the 8th and 9th inning with no incident, sealing the shutout win for the Twins.

The Twins improve to 25-51, and the White Sox fall back under .500, 38-39.

In other news, Ozzie Guillen was at the Saints game.
