Game LV: Rays @ Twins

They'll always be the Devil Rays to me. I just like the name better. It's a cool fish!

Remember when "life coach" was a thing? Gary Busey missed his calling.

Matt Andriese (rhymes with "pan grease"), a 26-year-old MLB sophomore and SoCal native, is off to a nice start this season. Although the other numbers suggest his ERA is A LIE, he is facing the Twins, so there's that. Andriese can move his fastball in several different directions, and mixes in the breaking stuff/changeup. Digits:

ERA H/9 K/9 BB/9 HR/9 OPS v L/R BAbip FIP
Santana 3.89

Andriese 2.36

Ervin Santana has been consistently inconsistent for the Twins. Is it the hair?

The Greatest Of All Time, Muhammed Ali, died yesterday. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, baby. Here's an FSN article featuring some Minnesota athlete reactions. (No, I'm not paid by Fox to link their articles! I WISH.)
