Last Friday I asked the Twinkie Town community who they would send if they could send one Twins player or coach in to outer space. The hive mind came together, and we got four candidates:
- Community member Han Joelo nominated minor league pitcher Michael Theofanopolous.
- Community member zkonedog nominated major league pitcher Kevin Jepsen.
- Community member less cowbell, more 'neau nominated major league pitcher Kyle Gibson. Sort of.
- Last but not least, community member Daniel Carlson nominated the only position player, Byron Buxton (I think?).
All very worthy candidates! But before we rename anyone Laika and strap them to a rocket, there is time for one last final vote.
