AAA: Rochester Red Wings 4, Norfolk Tides 0
SP Andrew Albers threw six shutout innings and RF Daniel Palka hit his third AAA home run as the Red Wings blanked the Tides 4-0.
The Red Wings’ number nine hitter, C Carlos Paulino, had a strong day at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI. The bullpen was strong too, with RP D.J. Baxendale and RP Ryan O'Rourke combining to throw three perfect innings to finish out the game.
AA: Chattanooga Lookouts 8, Mobile BayBears 7
The Lookouts scored two runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to capture this comeback win against the BayBears.
Lookouts SP Tyler Jay had a bit of a rough start, giving up four earned runs on four his over 5 innings. The bullpen was unable to stop the bleeding, with RP Mason Melotakis and RP Zack Jones also giving up one run apiece. RP Trevor Hildenberger was the only Lookout who didn’t give up a run.
At the plate, C Mitch Garver had the biggest hit of the night with a three run home run in the 1st inning. Mitch also needs a place to stay, if you happen to have an extra room in the Chattanooga area:

High A: Ft. Myers Miracle 2, Tampa Yankees 1
The Miracle scored eventually the winning run of this game in the top of the 13th inning thanks to an error by Yankees SS Abiatal Avelino. Feels good, don’t it?
The Twins were down 0-1 going into the top of the 8th inning when 3B T.J. White hit a solo-shot into the stands to tie it up.
RP Michael Theofanopoulos pitched three scoreless innings in extra innings relief. He was even able to escape a bases-loaded jam at one point.
Basically, this game was all stuff that never happens between the Twins and Yankees at the major league level.
Low A: Cedar Rapids Kernels 13, Fort Wayne TinCaps 10
The Kernels had 23 HITS in this high scoring affair, including two dongs by 1B Zander Wiel alone.
As you can tell from the score, the pitching kinda sucked but the hitting was pretty awesome. CF Casey Scoggins, who went 4-for-7 with a double, three RBI, and two runs scored. 3B Nelson Molina—who entered the game when SS Jermaine Palacios was removed due to an injury—went 3-for-4 with a triple, four RBI, and two runs scored. 2B Luis Arraez went 3-for-6 with two RBI and a walk. C Kevin Garcia went 3-for-6 with a double and three runs scored. And... seriously there were so many hits and standouts I could go on all night.
Rookie: Princeton Rays 5, Elizabethton Twins 1
Twins SP Ryan Mason threw four shutout innings, but the bullpen couldn’t hold it together and the Twins lost.
Oh, and errors. 3B Trey Cabbage made two of them throwing.
