25 years after arguably one of the best world series of all time, the Twins and the Braves face off for the first time this year. Except now instead of being league champions, they are both the worst teams in their respective leagues. Fun fact, if by "fun" you mean "depressing for everyone involved."

Ervin Santana, who has been dominant as of late, advertises himself to other teams tonight. I bet he's rather excited at the prospect of moving to a contender. That's probably fun. The Brave hitters that have faced him before haven't been particularly dominant against him, which bodes well for our chances of winning the Best-of-the-Worst championship series.

Starting for Atlanta will be Lucas Harrell who I'm told is a pitcher in the major leagues. Huh. He's actually been pretty solid in his limited appearances this year. Nothing spectacular, but a 4.24 ERA is pretty shiny on a last place team. Dozier and Nunez are the only Twins with much experience against him, and they are both hitting above .300 off him.

Notes:
- Do not boo A.J Pierzynski if you happen to be at the game today. Boss' orders. I guess don't boo him at home either. He can't hear you, you weirdo.

- Ervin Santana is apparently an ex-brave. Soofoo Fan's series preview is full of fun facts.
