AAA: Rochester Red Wings 10, Buffalo Bisons 4
LF Adam Brett Walker and RF Daniel Palka both hit home runs as the Red Wings kicked the Bisons’ butts 10-4. The Red Wings offensive explosion had 19 hits (!!) including six doubles. CF Byron Buxton led off the game with a double, and recently promoted 1B Mitch Garver hit TWO doubles in the game.
SS Wilfredo Tovar was also an offensive standout in the game, going 4-for-4 with two runs scored.
The lucky pitcher benefiting from all this offense was new Twins SP Adalberto Mejia, received in the Eduardo Nunez trade. Mejia gave up three earned runs in 6.1 innings of work. He have five strikeouts.
AA: Chattanooga Lookouts 5, Birmingham Barons 2
SP Fleix Jorge had an excellent start for the Lookouts to earn his first AA win. Jorge gave up two earned runs over his 6 innings or work, walking two and striking out six.
C Stuart Turner was the offensive star of the game for the Lookouts, going 3-for-4 with two doubles. CF Zach Granite went 1-for-3 with two walks and had two stolen bases, a triple, an RBI, and a run scored.
High A: Ft. Myers Miracle 4, Bradenton Marauders 3
SS Nick Gordon got this one poppin’ quickly with an RBI single for the Miracle, who led for the rest of the game, scoring two runs in the 3rd inning and one in the 5th before the Marauders answered back. Still, Gordon and CF Daniel Kihle were the only Miracle players with more than two hits in the game, both going 2-for-4.
SP Keaton Steele earned his sixth High A win on the season for the Miracle, giving up two earned runs over 6 innings. He struck out five batters.
Low A: Cedar Rapids Kernels at Peoria Chiefs POSTPONED
The ground was wet.

Rookie: Elizabethton Twins 7, Bluefield Blue Jays 6 (Game 1)
LF Shane Carrier and 1B Lewin Diaz both homered in the first game of this Rookie Ball double header, carried over from Sunday.
SP Miguel De Jesus pitched the first 3 innings of the game, giving up only one earned run. RP Domenick Carlini pitched the next 3 innings and gave up 4 earned runs. RP Hector Lujan and RP Patrick McGuff combined for the next 3 innings, which were scoreless.
Rookie: Elizabethton Twins 4, Bluefield Blue Jays 1 (Game 2)
The baby Twins scored three runs in the top of the 3rd and one run in the top of the 7th inninng in this win over the baby Blue Jays. 1B Amaurys Minier had both RBI for the Twins—and I say both because two of the runs came thanks to errors. Heck, the Twins only had five hits total in the game.
SP Tyler Wells pitched 5.1 innings for the Twins, giving up no earned runs and only one walk in the outing. He did give up an unearned run, however, thanks to an error by 2B Manuel Guzman.
