AAA: Rochester Red Wings 6, Pawtucket Red Sox 3

LF Adam Brett Walker hit a two-run home run as part of a four run 2nd inning and SS Wilfredo Tovar, RF Daniel Palka, and 1B Bung Ho Park hit doubles as the Red Wings beat the Red Sox 6-3. CF Logan Schafer also had a stellar day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with an RBI, a walk, a stolen base, and a run scored.

DH Trevor Plouffe started his rehab assignment with the Red Wings last night as well. He went 2-for-4 with a run scored.

SP Jason Wheeler started the game for the Red Wings. He lasted 5.1 innings and gave up all three earned runs to the Red Sox.

High A: Ft. Myers Miracle off

Off day, no game.

Low A: Burlington Bees 11, Cedar Rapids Kernels 5

Not a good day for Kernels RP Kuo Hua Lo. Hua Lo came in to relieve SP Sam Gibbons for the 6th inning and proceeded to give up nine runs. Only six of them were earned, but still—it was clearly enough to earn both the blown save and the loss.

On the bright side, 2B Luis Arraez had a career day, going 5-for-5 with two rbi and a run scored.

Rookie: Princeton Rays 12, Elizabethton Twins 6

LF Shane Carrier and 1B Amaurys Minier hit home runs and doubles for the Twins, but it isn’t enough when your pitching blows 3B Travis Blankenhorn makes three freaking errors leading to five unearned runs! Well, actually, SS Ariel Montesino made an error too, so it wasn’t all Blankenhorn. And SP Tyler Wells gave up six earned runs. So...yeah.
