AAA: Rochester Red Wings 1, Lehigh Valley IronPigs 0

2B Tommy Field hit a solo home run in the 5th innings which comprised all the scoring this game. In fact, the Red Wings only got three hits total—the home run, a double by C John Ryan Murphy, and a single by SS Wilfredo Tovar.

SP Nick Greenwood was spectacular for the Red Wings, pitching 7 shut-out innings. Only four hits! No walks.

AA: Chattanooga Lookouts 3, Jackson Generals 2

The Generals scored two runs in the bottom of the first off Lookouts SP Stephen Gonsalves, that’s all the Generals would get, and their lead didn’t last long. The Lookouts got two runs back in the top of the second to tie everything up.

It wasn’t until the top of the 7th the Lookouts finally took the lead. CF Zach Granite led off the inning with a single, stole a base, and reached third on a sacrifice bunt. He then scored what would be the winning run on an RBI ground-out by LF Travis Harrison.

Though Gonslaves only lasted 3 innings, he got five strike outs.

High A: Bradenton Marauders 2, Ft. Myers Miracle 1 (SUSPENDED)

The Miracle scored a run in the bottom of the 1st inning and kept the lead until the top of the 5th, when Marauder LF Jordan Luplow hit a two run home run off SP Dereck Rodriguez, son of Pudge.

Then the skies opened and it started to pour, and the game was suspended.

I swear to god D-Rod has some kind of crazy bad luck.

Low A: Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 4, Cedar Rapids Kernels 1

Though Kenrels SP Lachlan Wells was stellar—giving up only three runs over 6.1 innings with eleven strikeouts (!)—three unearned runs led to the Kernels downfall. In fact, the fourth run off Kernels RP Williams Ramirez was also unearned. All the Timber Rattlers runs were unearned!

You can give the big stink-eye to C Rainis Silva, 1B Zander Wiel, and 3B Nelson Molina for their errors.
