Minnesotans bootlegged booze in fast cars, Seattleites in fast boats. Proving we're all equal in the eyes of Liquor Gods.

Poor Robinson Cano. Brian Dozier broke his AL record for homers by a 2B. How can he console himself? Well, it would be legal in Washington to buy 62,500 pounds of weed.

Rookie Ernesto Lin Manuel Ariel Miranda pitches for the M's. A deadline trade addition from Baltimore, he throws a four-seamer, two-seamer, and what FanGraphs can't decide is either a changeup or a sinker. Kind of an older prospect, he did well in AAA this year and in his first go-round as a starter. But, SSS, and FIP does NOT agree with him. Digits:

ERA H/9 K/9 BB/9 HR/9 OPS v L/R BAbip FIP
Duffey 6.39
Miranda 3.47

Speaking of SSS, remember how excited we were last year about Tyler Duffey? Now, less so. He's been victimized by a high BAbip, but he still gives too many dongs. Oddly, from those OPS splits, Miranda is a lefty and Duffey a righty. Maybe they should switch.
