Know Thine Enemy: Royals Review

Has anything this season been as depressing as knowing that James Beresford has started multiple games at first base and Logan Schafer was a fifth-place hitter last night? Tonight the Twins field an actual major league lineup - as in Kennys Vargas is starting at 1B, Max Kepler is tonight's #5 hitter and everyone (except maybe Robbie Grossman, but he does hit LHP well) appears that they slot into a reasonable spot in the batting order.

Ervin Santana takes the mound so the pitching should be solid, too. Hey! The Twins might actually win this one.

Today's Lineups

Brian Dozier - 2B Jarrod Dyson - CF
Jorge Polanco - SS Whit Merrifield - 2B
Robbie Grossman - LF Eric Hosmer - 1B
Miguel Sano - DH Kendrys Morales - DH
Kennys Vargas - 1B Salvador Perez - C
Max Kepler - RF Alex Gordon - LF
Eduardo Escobar - 3B Paulo Orlando - RF
John Ryan Murphy - C Alcides Escobar - SS
Byron Buxton - CF Cheslor Cuthbert - 3B
Ervin Santana - RHP Jason Vargas - LHP
