Yep! It’s that time of the year again. With the last game of the World Series having been played, baseball is over and the snow isn’t sticking yet, but more is on the way for sure. So, Twinkie Town is closing up shop for the winter. There’s nothing left to write about until spring.
I cleaned out the fridge (by the way, whoever left the yogurts in there: they expired in August, and your science experiment in the Tupperware container was a success! Several new forms of flora and fauna were thriving in it. You’ll find it in the KwikTrip dumpster on highway 10.) There’s dust covers on the furniture, the windows are boarded, and the door is padlocked. I found $2.37 in loose change under the sofa cushions, I’m keeping it.
Please send all correspondence to our Minneapolis P.O. box, otherwise expect delays in delivery. We enjoyed the homemade cookies and rhubarb bars you’ve sent us this season and your drawings of myjah and all the TT staff are still taped to the refrigerator. Keep ‘em coming!
Enjoy your offseason, everybody! We’ll be back when Twins catchers and pitchers report next February, we’ll have more game threads, analysis, and Twins hijinx at that time. ‘Til then, have a cup of hot cocoa and stay warm!
