Game XV: Indians at Twins

The (7-7) Cleveland Indians face the (7-7) Minnesota Twins in an AL Central battle to the death... or until one team wins, or it rains again, whichever comes first. Since it's my gamethread day and a day game, FSN has deemed this game as not being broadcast worthy. You might be able to watch it with a Canadian VPN or whatever they have up there.

Smelling the baseball for the Twins will be Ervin Santana (RHP, 3-0, 0.41 ERA). "Black Magic" is "one of the hottest pitchers in baseball" according the MLB Twins' site after his one-hit, complete-game shutout against the White Sox last time out. He also struck out eight in that game. Edwin Encarnacion has hit three HR off of Santana.

Instead of facing Corey "Kluber Lang" Cluber today, the Twins will face Trevor Bauer (rhymes with "Mauer") today (RHP, 0-2. 8.44 ERA). Trevor got roughed up in his last game giving up six runs and seven hits in five innings against the Tigers. He's got a career 4.49 ERA and over his last two games, he's struck out 13 batters while walking just two. Eddie Rosario has a .444 BA with five RBI and a HR in his last 18 AB against Bauer.
